Hello 3rd Trimester!

Well, this week I am offically in my 3rd trimester! We're in the home stretch now. It's crazy to think in just 13 more weeks we'll get to meet our little girl! Here is an updated picture. Don't mind my hair/ make up- we were getting ready to go out to breakfast. :)

Here is her crib with the letters hanging above. I am going to paint the letter a pale pink but they probably won't look that much different.

This is a view from the inside of the crib and her mobile.

We finally found wall art! We had such a hard time finding something that we liked but I'm really happy with these two pieces.

Dresser/ hutch, hamper, and glider. When we get the changing pad it will go where the bear is now.

Her closet is already so full! We have clothes ranging from Newborn- 6-9 months. I still need to wash everything for the first time but I'm waiting until after her shower and then I'll just do it all at once.

How far along? 27 weeks 2 day
Total weight gain/loss: I'm up about 23 lbs. My doctor's appointment isn't until next week so I'll have an official weigh in then. The rule of thumb is that I should gain a pound a week from here on out. If I can keep to that, I'll be happy. Hopefully the Reese's Peanut Butter ice cream (and chocolate/ peanut butter topping) doesn't catch up with me! :)
Stretch marks? None yet, hoping to keep it that way!
Sleep: Well, I have been attacked by my allergies the last few days which is making a good nights' sleep hard. Best moment this week: The nursery is pretty much finished. It's great to have so much done already! I still have plenty on my to do list though. Before we know it, it will be time to start putting together all the baby stuff. And man is there a lot to put together! Hopefully Addam is up for the challenge.
Movement: She moves around a ton and is getting stronger everyday. You can see her kick through my shirt. It's crazy! I try to enjoy them now as I know they will soon turn from cute little taps into kicks to my ribs.
Food cravings: I still haven't had any off the wall cravings. Especially since I've been sick the last few days and nothing tastes the same, I have become especially indecisive.
Gender: Girl! Her name will be Aubrey Morgan Lewis.
Labor Signs: None at all and hopefully not for a long time!
Belly Button in or out? In- all the books say it won't stay that way much longer but I'm hoping it stays put! I'm not interested in an outie :)
What I miss: Good drugs! Since I've been so sick the past few days, I just want to take the good stuff and knock this crud out of my head.
What I am looking forward to: Meeting our little girl! Two of our friends had their little girl last week (Welcome Blakelee Anne!) and it just made me even more excited to meet Aubrey. I can't wait to see what she looks like!

26 weeks- Last week in 2nd tri!!

We got her name hung above her crib this weekend. I'm still going to paint it a pale pink but at least it's up. We also got a few canvas wall art pieces for the room. More pictures to come but I thought I'd get a recent one up.

Better Picture for 24 weeks

Addam bought me a UK shirt that says "It's Game Time- Doctor's Orders!" Love it!!

24 weeks survey

Addam took this picture with my cell phone so it's not the best quality and a little over exposed. I'll try to take a better one soon. You can see we put the crib mattress in with the white polka dot sheet.

How far along? 24 weeks 2 days

Total weight gain/loss: Do I still have to answer this question? Um, I'm probably up almost 20 pounds now. I haven't weighed myself in a few days. Dr's appointment is tomorrow and I'll get an official update. I don't know how much longer I'll be answering this question. :)

Stretch marks? None. I've been using Palmer's Tummy Butter and hopefully it will stay that way!

Sleep: I did get my Snoogle for Valentine's Day! This is pretty much this best friend a pregnant woman can have. Sleeping still isn't the same as a good night's sleep on my stomach but it's way better than usual. I will definitely be recommending it to any friends that get pregnant!

Best moment this week: Last weekend Addam felt her kick for the first time! Now he can feel her almost every day. It's amazing how much stronger she has gotten. I can even look down at my stomach and see her kick from the outside. Weird!

Movement: See above :)

Food cravings: My sweet tooth is back in full effect! I went to the grocery last weekend and got Breyer's Reese's Peanut Butter Cup ice cream and chocolate and peanut butter topping. It was ridiculous!

Gender: GIRL!

Labor Signs: None at all and hopefully not for a long time!

Belly Button in or out? In

What I miss: I have been wearing my high heels less and less as time goes by. I still wear them about 2 times a week to work but other than that, it's comfy flats for me.

What I am looking forward to: Spring! It's been such a cold, snowy winter and I'm over it. Spring also makes it feel so much closer to June 21 when we meet her.

Weekly Wisdom: Stay hydrated! I feel so much better when I drink enough water.

Milestones: We have a name! Her name will be Aubrey Morgan Lewis. AML- just like mommy and daddy!

Newest Nursery Addition- Closet Dividers

As most of you all probably know, I am not the most crafty person in the world. I saw the idea to make personalized closet dividers online and decided to give it a try. I started out with plain wooden hangers that I found at Michael's.

We had several colors of test paint from the walls for the nursery so I used that to paint them solid colors. I made 2 pink, 2 greens, and 1 purple.

Here is the final product!

All together now!

In action! I can't figure out how I want to attach the ribbon yet so I just slide them onto the clothes rack at this point.

I love this little sleeper. I can't wait until she grows into it!

I haven't been great about updating my survey. I have been crazy busy at work but I'll try to add an updated picture and survey soon. Thanks!

Nursery Pictures!!

Here is a picture from our Valentine's Dinner. 21 weeks 4 days

Finally! Here are some pictures of the nursery! We still have a few things to do like putting her name above the crib and get some wall art. But, here is the crib!! We are buying the crib mattress this weekend. There will be a white sheet with matching pink and green polka dots between the bumper and the crib skirt.

This is the view inside the crib and her mobile.

Changing tower and hutch. It will look a little different when we get the changing pad and everything...

The left side of the closet. Love all the storage Addam put in! And a few of her outfits!

This is the view from inside (right side of the closet). I was actually sitting on the lower shelves when I took this. :)

The rocker/glider. It reclines and swivels left to right. So comfy! And it has little pockets on each side of it for burp cloths and anything extra we need without getting up.

The window, valance, and hamper. I didn't notice Lexi was in the picture until just now! LOL

That's it for now.

Almost Finished Nursery!

Our nursery is almost finished! I thought I'd post pictures of each wall in progress! We have the crib, changing table, and hutch put together. I'll post more finished pictures soon! This is the first wall in progress. These shelves will go into the new walk in closet (hopefully this weekend!).

Hole in the wall!

With dry wall complete:

The shelves still need to go into the closet. I think this is a great picture of the wall color. It's a soft green. I forgot to take pictures before we started moving in furniture- oops!

Here is the right side wall where the crib goes now. Before with small half closet door made for oompa loompas:

With the wall knocked out:

Dry Wall:

Look how big it looks!!! I can't believe what a change it made. This is going to be my favorite room in the house!

Window wall before: Can you tell we just moved in when I took this picture? :) It was the only room in the house that didn't have furniture!

In progress with dry wall against the window:

Finished! With the box the the hutch was in leaning against the window.

Side wall as we were testing out paint colors: It took 6 test colors from Lowe's and we didn't like any of them! We went to Wal Mart and just bought a gallon and LOVE the color we chose!

Finished side wall!

Pictures of her crib and completed furniture will be up soon! I don't have them with me at work!
